Because it's not about being a trans youth, it's about being a youth, but a human before anything. Labels wouldn't exist and people wouldn't feel the need to live out loud so often if we all could just respect the fact that we are as different as we are the same and it's okay! And so we must protect our kids from the hands of those who simply don't care to grasp this reality.
